We have come to the determination that CPLSO and CPLSO's activities serve primarily as promotional vehicles for your product. Our position therefore, is that CPLSO does not speak for the US load insulator industry and we strongly advise that you make no further representations to the contrary in load insulator-related selling or marketing activities. Sincerely, MILLER PRODUCTS Al Papcsy General Manager -----Original Message----- From: Hugh Pratt [mailto:hugh@insulatus.com] Sent: Tuesday, June 15, 2004 6:09 AM To: Mike Mitchell; Sean Grieve; Graham Barr Cc: Derald Morgan; George Karaday; David McCollum; Lance Burney; Hirtzer@aol.com; Al Papscy Subject: CPLSO STANDARD Lance Burney Sigalarm Inc. Dear Lance Thank you for your email and acknowledgement of what we have done for proximity alarms. We have supported proximity alarms despite the fact that only you currently manufacture these products and your uncle is planning to. I have explained to committee members that proximity alarms are a good idea and that there may be others joining the market after CDAC finishes. We should not throw out the principal because of the sole supplier. We try to be a blessing to all people - contractors and companies - even if they do not pay subscriptions. I informed you of CDAC and formally invited Miller and Hirtzer. Members of CPLSO include companies with $100m group turnover with experienced engineers. For myself IEEE member, BSc (hons) Mech. Eng. MSc Ocean Eng. Dip. Ocean Eng and almost complete PhD in High Voltage En gineerin g at UCL. This is level with Harvard or MIT.
